Choir

Please see the attached schedule of events for Swing/Advanced Choir 2009-2010.

Advanced Choir I, II Credit: 1.00 Duration: One Year Alable for Grades: 9, 10, 11 and 12 Prerequisite: One year of choir and/or teacher permission. Meets Graduation Requirements For: Fine, Visual or Performing Arts Description: Students will be taught advanced techniques of vocal production and musical style. There will be at least one performance each semester in which the student is required to participate. The second semester class will perform in the SWW Massed Choir Festival. There is a dress code for all performances: Boys—nice dress shirt and pants (no blue jeans) and shoes without holes. Girls—dresses or skirts.

 Choir I, II Credit: 1.00 Duration: One Year Available for Grades: 9, 10, 11 and 12 Prerequisite: None Meets Graduation Requirements For: Fine, Visual or Performing Arts Description: Students will be taught the basics of music: breathing, posture, sound production, enunciation, reading of music, and showmanship. There will be at least one performance each semester in which the student is required to participate.
