4-year College Information:
- Be aware of application deadlines and fees. Fee waivers are available. Some schools waive the fee for online applications.
- Scholarship deadlines are usually different--and and often earlier--than admissions deadlines, and require separate applications.
- Priorty admissions: students apply at an earlier time and are notified earlier.
- Automatic vs. comperhensive review: some schools have automatic admissions with minimum GPA.
2-Year College Information:
- Most have rolling admissions and require a placement test instead of SAT or ACT
- Althought they have few admission requirements, students still must be prepared for college level work, or will need remedation
- Offer Certificate and Degree programs including technical programs
- Have activites that still allow students the "college experience"

Scholarships:
- We update our scholarship list every 1-2 weeks. Copies available in the Guidance Office or online.
- Apply for scholarships at the college/university you are going to attend.
- Do not every pay for scholarship assistance. If they ask for money, it is probably a scam!
