Wendy Beldin

Digital Communication

Mrs. Wendy Beldin teaches Digital Communications to graduating seniors. Her class prepares students for furthering their education and or, career. She teaches the students how to type out resumes and applications as well as other works that will persuade employers to hire the students. Mrs. Beldin also assists students in preparing their senior portfolios, as the Digital Communications class employs many of the skills necessary to complete this culminating activity.

Adminstrative Assistant Internship

Administrative Assistant Internship:  If you don’t want to work in the fast-food industry, but you know that you will need to work in the near future—request this class!  This class focuses on office procedures and professional skills including answering the telephone, using software efficiently, and working for a variety of people.  We assist the Elma High School staff with grading, copying, formatting documents, and running errands.  As well, we assist in the main office and attendance offices daily!

Business Communications

Business Communications is a very hands-on English class; computers and software are fully intertwined within every project that students complete in this class.  Students assist in the design of our projects to meet their interests and increase skills that will be valuable throughout life—reading for understanding and writing for purpose!  Perhaps you have seen our results displayed in the hallway and during book fair!

Work Experience Internship

Work Experience:  Keep your transcript strong while you are building your resume—register for credits because you have a job!  You don’t have to work during school hours, but you may be able to leave school early AND your transcript will be strong because you are earning credit through your job.  Class participation is one item weekly, online, and you choose the day and time that you complete it. Maximize your time and money, ask your counselor about work experience credits!
